The nursing team will now only test urine samples for health review reasons or if a GP at the surgery has requested the urine test. This is done for patient safety.
We have Paramedics who work alongside our GPs and Nurses to diagnose and treat Minor illnesses. These clinicians are highly qualified and experienced and they provide in depth knowledge of a full range of Minor Illnesses.
Use of other clinicians such as Paramedics allows our GPs to spend their time on more complex issues.
Our Paramedics practice from the surgery and do not generally conduct home visits.
Antenatal Clinics, Your Pregnancy & Baby
Please inform the surgery as soon as you find out you are pregnant as we can then schedule you in to routine antenatal checks. This will also help us to help you ensure your pregnancy goes as smoothly as possible.
Please click on the image to the left to get some more information on your pregnancy and baby.
Childhood Developmental Assessments
At 6 weeks (GP), 8 months (health visitors) then optional developmental assessment at 2 years. You will be called for these.
