Planned New Premises for Berryfields Medical Centre

Berryfields Medical Centre has been housed in temporary accommodation for over a decade. Behind the scenes, the Practice has been working hard to secure its permanent premises. We are excited to announce that we finally have some firm news...

As our name suggests, Berryfields Medical Centre was always destined to be located within the Berryfields development. With the backing of Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group, The Parish Council, The District Council and Montpelier Estates, we are pleased to have now identified this land.

The proposed site has afforded Berryfields Medical Centre a tremendous opportunity. The ongoing expansion of Aylesbury has increased demand on all public services, not least within GP Practices. Our neighbouring Practice, Meadowcroft Surgery, shares our vision for patients: Efficient and rapid access to services, with a greater number of facilities, all built on a foundation of patient focused holistic care. The new site will allow us to house both our practices so that we may work alongside each other and facilitate these improvements. Patients can be reassured that they will continue under the care of their current GP and Practice teams.

Although we still have many months of planning ahead of us, the Practices felt that it was important to share news even at this early stage. The surgeries will soon be inviting all patients to help us identify future service needs and to explore ideas for the new building.

Until then, thank you for your patience.
